READING LOGS:

Your child has brought his/her reading log home along with a letter explaining the program.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. 

LANGUAGE ARTS:

We are continuing our StoryTown program.

We are on Theme 5 

Don't forget to ask your child all about the stories we are reading.  Ask questions such as:

WE ARE WORKING ON SUMMARIZING AND RETELLING. 

What is the main idea of the story?

What is the title of the story?

Who are the characters?

What is the setting?

What happened in the Beginning, Middle, and End? 

Was there a problem and a solution in your story?

We have begun writing descriptions!  Ask your child about adjectives and Andy Adjective!
